The Centre de développement et de recherche en intelligence numérique (CDRIN) believes that digital intelligence lies at the confluence of creativity and technological innovation; the powerful meeting point where tangible, innovative solutions are brought to life for the benefit of local businesses.
Located in the Lower St. Lawrence region of Quebec and affiliated with the Cégep de Matane, the CDRIN itself lies at the confluence of often-contrasting worlds — art and research, school and enterprise, public funding and profitability, regional and global.
Yet these contrasting influences work in the CDRIN’s favor, contributing to its many successful collaborations, enabling it to make leading-edge technological solutions widely available and, ultimately, positioning the centre a cut above the rest.
After all, digital intelligence is only valuable when shared.
The CDRIN is a member of the College Centres for the Transfer of Technologies and Innovative Social Practices (CCTTs) network, which brings together centres of innovation and applied research to foster business growth in Quebec. Established in 1992, the CCTT network is a key initiative in college research in Quebec proposed by the ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur and the ministère de l’Économie, de l’Innovation et de l’Énergie. The network’s centres are engines of innovation, rooted in sustainable development, and committed to aligning economic growth with societal needs.

We aim to drive our partners’ industries forward by anticipating the most promising technological advancements and assisting these companies in integrating them into their internal expertise. This is how digital intelligence helps sectors like entertainment, environment, and maritime industries position and maintain themselves at the forefront of technology.
02
We view the companies we work with as allies, building mutual trust through collaboration, support, and a deep understanding of their needs. Depending on the project’s complexity, these partnerships can involve numerous collaborators of varying nature and size, located anywhere in Quebec, Canada, or beyond.

We act as true consultants because our teams are highly qualified to do so. With both competence and creativity, they can provide an agile response to your needs, adapt to potential changes, and transfer knowledge at your team’s pace.
04
Our ethical approach to technology and respect for companies’ intellectual property are rooted in our culture of innovation.
