Press Release

Matane, August 13, 2024 – Under the theme Bringing Innovation to Life, the Centre de développement et de recherche en intelligence numérique (CDRIN) unveils its new brand identity. With a fresh new look, this platform highlights the synergy between technological breakthroughs and real-world solutions for local businesses.

A Recognized Center of Expertise

As a college technology transfer center affiliated with Cégep de Matane, CDRIN has established itself as a center of excellence in applied research, experimental development, and innovation for Quebec’s creative and cultural industries since its inception in 2011. The implementation of a co-directorship last year and the launch of major research projects, among other initiatives, have breathed new life into the organization.

This new chapter coincides with CDRIN’s 10th anniversary as a member of the CCTT network and is accompanied by a revamped brand identity under the theme Bringing Innovation to Life. This transformation reflects CDRIN’s desire to fulfill its mission of stimulating innovation within Quebec companies and to materialize its vision of a future focused on collaborative digital intelligence.

Reflecting the Essence of CDRIN

The new brand platform emphasizes technological innovation to illustrate CDRIN’s constant evolution in a perpetually changing digital environment. Imagined and designed with Anne-Marie Brouillette and her team at Collective Matter (Matière Collective), specializing in creation and strategy, this visual and narrative identity offers a fresh perspective on CDRIN.

It is materialized by airy logo evoking optimism and is supported by a communication platform that reveals the organization’s research potential in innovation as well as its cutting-edge technical skills. The creative approach was enriched by a series of visuals designed by 3D artist Amos Nzamba, a collaborator of Collective MAtter, to articulate the creative vision in synergy between CDRIN and the dynamic communities of the creative and cultural industries. The new website developed by the agency Supramega completes the approach, clarifying CDRIN’s offerings and technological explorations.

“This fundamental shift seeks to solidify CDRIN’s place in Quebec’s technological landscape and to make our mission more transparent for businesses. From the outset, CDRIN has forged lasting connections with its many partners and digital creative communities. The new identity reinforces this commitment as the optimal gateway to collaborative ecosystems that stimulate innovation through R&D.”

Julien Coll, Co-Managing Director & Operations

“By renewing our brand, we demonstrate our ability to adapt to the constant changes in our environment. This approach is part of an ongoing commitment to innovation, both in the solutions we offer our clients and in our internal operations. Our communication is now aligned with these new ambitions.”
